I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor who has been counselling individuals, couples and families for over twelve years. My clients present a wide variety of issues including fear, anxiety, trauma, panic, stressful lives, depression, negative habits, compulsive overeating, relationship challenges and more.

My counselling philosophy stems from the belief that all individuals have the capacity for change when given the opportunity, tools and guidance. I strive to provide a safe space, which is respectful, encouraging and supportive. This results in the right opportunities for clients to overcome blocks preventing them from living life to the fullest and achieving their goals.

In private practice since 2001, I have also counselled individuals, couples and families at the Delta Therapy and Counselling Clinic, North Shore Counselling Centre, and as a volunteer at South Surrey-White Rock/South Surrey Women’s Place. As the Director of West Coast College of Health Care for the last 16 years I have worked in counselling, goal setting and conflict resolution. I have additional specialized training in Life Stress Reduction, Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy, Family Systems, Satir Transformational Therapy and Adlerian Therapy.

With experience in athletic personal training running wellness programs and health education, I also have a special interest in helping athletes including equestrian athletes improve their performance and remove blocks which are preventing them from achieving their goals.
